Nepse climbed to 2100 points, daily turnover posts Rs 1.474 billion on Monday

 

The Nepal Stock Exchange rose by 4.62 points and ended at 2,100.70 on Monday, 2079 Magh 23. The Nepal Stock Exchange started at 2,096.32 and quickly drop to 2,087.70 in the first hour.  It started to climb and reached its highest point of the day at 2,102.55. Later, it dropped to 2090.9 and finished the day at 2,100.70.

The daily trading value drop to 1.474 billion from 1.931 billion the day before. Out of 216 companies, the market value increased for 104 while 95 saw a decrease in their share prices and 17 stays unchanged.

The blue chip performance indicator, the sensitive index, rose by 1.89 points. Among 13 trading groups, 8 of them saw an increase in market value, with Manufacturing and Processing seeing the biggest gain of 70.44 points and 1.36%. While Life Insurance group dropped 82.98 points among all 5 decreasing groups.

The company with the largest share transaction was NICA Bank worth 64.57 million. Adarsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha saw the biggest gain while Barahi hydropower suffered the largest loss in market value percentage.

Today total market capitalization is Rs. 3,031,426,896,543.2 while market tradable capital is Rs.1,075,353,249,093.1. There was 29,846 transactions traded 3,922,216 shares in the day.

Even though the market increases to 2100 points yet the resistant is near at 2113.95 and the nearest support is at 2012.85 So there is still risk seen as the turnover dropped by almost 50 million.
